DOJ Seeks New Representative for Tow Truck Complaint Resolution Committee

The Montana Department of Justice is seeking applications for membership to the Tow Truck Complaint Resolution Committee from a representative of the commercial motor carrier industry.

The Tow Truck Complaint Resolution Committee is made up of six representatives:  Two members from the tow truck industry; one from the commercial motor carrier industry; one from the insurance industry; one from the public; and one from the Montana Highway Patrol.

The Committee reviews and resolves complaints involving tow truck issues.  The person selected will serve until February 2020 and may then reapply to serve a three-year term.

Letters of application should include the applicant’s name, address, and any qualifications the applicant believes are relevant to his/her ability to serve as a committee member.  The deadline to apply is July 31, 2018.  Once the deadline has passed, Attorney General Tim Fox will review the applications and make a final decision on committee membership.
