Upon successful completion the student will receive a certificate of training valid for three years to work on and repair Remington 870 shotguns. Course covers a material overview, function recap, familiarization with the major sub-assemblies and to remove them for service, cycle of operations, armorer level inspection, troubleshooting procedures and maintenance procedures.

Remington provides all training aids, printed material, test and evaluation sheets. Tools are provided for the student’s use during class. Each student must bring a law enforcement 870 for class instruction.
