Web-based Training

CJIN Services provides an advanced web-based learning management system that is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and presents on-line certification and recertification training programs customized to meet the needs of different CJIN user levels. In addition, through the learning management system, users can view their personal CJIN training transcripts and register to attend CJIN regional courses and conferences.

Instructor-led Courses
  • CJIN Inquiry Certification Course – an eight-hour course that presents an overview of Montana’s Criminal Justice Information Network, the National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS) and the FBI’s National Crime Information Center (NCIC).
  • CJIN Record Entry Course – an eight-hour course designed to train CJIN users in the proper entry and maintenance of CJIN and NCIC Hot File records.
