Montana Attorney General Tim Fox, Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette Make Friendly Bet on NCAA Tournament Showdown
HELENA – Montana Attorney General Tim Fox and Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette announced a friendly wager in advance of Thursday night’s NCAA tournament showdown between the University of Michigan Wolverines (3) and the University of Montana Grizzlies (14).
The terms of the wager: the loser sends the winner a basket of their home state’s finest food and beverages.
“My friend General Schuette and I are both competitive, so it’s only natural we’d take advantage of a rare head-to-head matchup between Michigan and Montana,” Attorney General Fox said. “The Grizzlies are on a hot streak, coming off a great Big Sky Conference Tournament. I look forward to enjoying some of the finest made-in-Michigan refreshments following a Griz win.”
“I’m more than happy to make this friendly wager with Attorney General Fox,” said General Schuette. “Michigan is on a hot streak and the Wolverines will send the Grizzlies packing. Go Blue!”
Tip-off is at 7:50 PM Mountain Time.
