For Officers that have purchased an Optic and Holster (level 2 or higher). All optics (brand and model) must be approved by the Firearms Committee.  Officers will only be allowed to take this course with an approved optic.  Armorers will be installing sights (required by policy) and inspecting firearms and equipment.

Please do not signup of this course if you do not have the required equipment (Approved RDS and Holster).

This For the individual shooter to have
confidence in their MRDS equipment and be
competent with said equipment. This course is to
increase the existing individual skills of each
student in combat marksmanship, using a MRDS
and related equipment. Shooters will be
introduced to new concepts and skills designed to
increase speed, efficiency and accuracy.
Required equipment: Approved handgun, approved
MRDS with battery, 3 magazines, duty belt with holster
and mag pouch, bulletproof vest, eye protection, and
hearing protection
Notes: Regions (outside of Billings) sending officers must
make lodging arrangements and provide all duty equipment and ammunition (500 rds).

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
DOC Firearms Authorized Personnel with an
emphasis on Firearms Instructors (to take this
training course to their regions or facilities).
MUST HAVE AN APPROVED RDS AND HOLSTER.
