hb102 testimony

Montana’s Attorney General Austin Knudsen stood up for Montanan’s gun rights Tuesday, testifying in support of House Bill 102 (HB 102) during its first hearing in the House Judiciary Committee.

“Montana voters have spoken. This is a very clear mandate from the voters of Montana that they want legislation that further protects our right to keep and bear arms,” Attorney General Knudsen said. “Montanans’ lawful ability to defend themselves and loved ones shouldn’t end because they step foot on a college campus.”

House Bill 102 is would expand Montanans’ ability for self-defense by reducing and eliminating government-mandated “gun-free zones” where only criminals are armed.
