Resilience as a First Responder-Advanced

Loading Events

4 HOURS POST APPROVED!

It is time to put on your armor – metaphorically. As first responders we dawn our uniforms and step out to serve our community during some of their hardest days. This has the capacity to take a toll on our mental wellbeing. Resilience as a First Responder – Advanced is a course designed to help the helper. If first responders are not healthy, our communities suffer. As a seasoned first responder or leader in this world, this class will ensure that you’re operating at your best and offering the right resources for you and for those you supervise. This course will equip you with the tools necessary to put on our armor. We will be discussing techniques and concepts that will help us to understand what we need to be doing to keep ourselves whole.

This course is FREE of charge, POST certified (4hrs), and will be offered in a blended instruction method. Instructors are MLEA Training Officer Kimberly Much and Montana Highway Patrol Sergeant Katherine Johnson. The in-person instruction will be located at the Montana Law Enforcement Academy on April 28th starting at 0830, and online/remote will be via Zoom. There are 30 spots available in total. For questions/registration email [email protected].
