Initial certification and recertification for Taser
X2, including updated information from Taser
Inc., proper handling and shot placement, and
demonstration of deployment of a Taser into a
target.
 Dress: Duty uniform and gear including
ballistic vest. Plastic training firearms are
recommended. Must bring taser, 4 cartridges,
and safety/shooting glasses.
DO NOT BRING: Firearms, ammunition,
or chemical agents.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
This class is for officers who need to certify
or recertify on Taser X2. Individuals who are
completing this as initial qualification will
be required to stay through lunch to
complete written testing.
