Please join us for this 8-hour, no-cost training delivered by LETTAC subject-matter experts in
partnership with the Stillwater County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) and Domestic and Sexual Violence
Services (DSVS) of Montana. This training provides participants with practical, hands-on tools
and strategies to enhance the effectiveness of domestic violence investigations and improve
outcomes for survivors and communities.
Participants will learn how trauma affects victim behavior and memory, and how to use trauma-informed interviewing to improve engagement and case outcomes. The training also covers
identifying the predominant aggressor, recognizing witness intimidation tactics, and enhancing
collaboration with victim service providers to support survivors and ensure accountability.
The same training will be offered on two separate days to accommodate varying shifts and
schedules for law enforcement, tribal agencies, and allied professionals across Montana.
