Montana End of Watch Trust

The End of Watch Trust was created in 2023 for the purpose of supporting eligible law enforcement officers and their immediate family in the event of an officer’s death or catastrophic injury in the line of duty. Information below is in accordance with Title 2, Chapter 15, Sections 2040-2045 of the Montana Code Annotated.

A voluntary board oversees the administration of the Trust. The board is comprised of members representing the Montana Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association, Montana Police Protective Association, Association of Montana Troopers, Montana Association of Chiefs of Police, and Montana Department of Justice.
