Hamilton, MT: Sergeant Scott Bennett was involved in an injury head-on collision this morning at around 6AM on US 93 mm 43 south of Hamilton. Bennett was northbound on US 93 when a southbound vehicle with worn tires and traveling too fast for conditions lost control negotiating a curve, slid sideways and entered Sgt. Bennett’s lane. Sgt. Bennett steered to the right and went onto the road’s shoulder to avoid the crash, but was unable to do so and the vehicles collided head-on.

Bennett sustained a shattered ankle in the crash and the other driver sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Sergeant Bennett is stationed in Hamilton as the Detachment 113 Commander.
