Instructor Development for Public Safety Professionals is designed to provide attendees with the skills to create, deliver and document training to all audiences. This course is required for individuals to conduct P.O.S.T. certified training in Montana.

Participants learn to develop training outlines and presentations that meet the critical training needs for their agencies. Learning styles and risk management are also discussed. Students will provide a 15-minute final presentation. Student laptops are required for this training.

Agencies will need to send their prospective students to MLEA with a laptop or tablet capable of accessing the internet and their ACADIS Portal. If you do not have access to your ACADIS Portal, please contact your supervisor or POST at [email protected].

No lunch is provided but may be purchased for $10.25 per day, the Full Meal Plan $30.00 and lodging if available is $30.00 per night.
