This training has been approved by POST for eight hours.

This one-day, no cost course is intended to train law enforcement personnel on recognizing and identifying sovereign citizens and first amendment auditors, understanding subculture movements, and enhancing officer safety and ensuring professional and productive encounters while maintaining civil rights. Taught by subject matter expert Detective Robert Finch of the Greensboro, North Carolina, Police Department, participants will learn to recognize and describe common sovereign ideology and language, recognize sovereign forms of identification and documents, identify common forms of sovereign “paper terrorism,” and increase overall awareness.
